No mess, no manual siphoning. How It Works The Tidal hangs on the back rim of your aquarium and draws water up through a single large media basket. Water passes through mechanical media (to trap debris), then chemical media (to polish and remove impurities), then biological media (to grow the beneficial bacteria that process ammonia and nitrite), and finally spills back into the tank through a reversible cover.
