August is seafood boil time! This new & improved kit feeds 6 to 8 people and includes all the main ingredients needed for a delicious and memorable meal. Gather around the table, spread out the Shelton Mason County Journal, and crack into Dungeness crab, fresh Manila clams, Hood Canal spot prawns, and locally smoked sausage. We suggest pairing it with a salad and cornbread. Bibs are optional! Your kit includes: 4 pounds manila clams, 2 Dungeness crab clusters, 1/2 pound spot prawns, smoked sausage rope (about 1 1/2 pounds), and seafood seasoning. There's also a recipe card with the ingredients you'll need to procure yourself and tips and tricks to make the most of your seafood. Where did all these delicious ingredients come from? Manila clams from the beaches in South Puget Sound and Northern Olympic Peninsula Spot prawns from Hood Canal, caught by Skokomish Tribal members Smoked sausage rope from Olympia-based Tri City Meats Dungeness crab from Alaska Seafood seasoning from Spiva Cooking, in Bremerton, WA (think Old Bay, but local) We'll include instructions and recipe in the box, and you can scope them ahead of time on our recipes page.
