An alcohol-based interior primer sealer that stops stains from bleeding through on plaster, wood, metal, and masonry. It helps block and lock down stains from smoke and fire damage, and is an ideal replacement for pigmented shellac. Seal Lock Plus may be used as a primer for porous substrates or as a sealer/stain blocker. Grease, and knots Use a vapour barrier (perm rating of 0.3) Not for use in immersion surfaces Do not use a top coat containing aromatic hydrocarbons or oxygenated solvents Can be used for exterior spot priming COVERAGE Quart (946 millilitres)- One coat of approximately 100 square feet of wall space Gallon (3.79 litres)- One coat of approximately 400 square feet of wall space *Coverage may vary depending on the surface porosity and texture* SURFACE PREP SEE PRODUCT DATA SHEET FOR COMPLETE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Remove grease, dirt, oil, wax, scaling paint, wallpaper paste, and other foreign matter by solvent or detergent cleaning Rinse with clean water and allow to dry thoroughly Remove mildew with a commercial mildewcide Dull glossy surfaces by sanding Fill cracks and nail holes with patching compound, sand smooth and remove dust APPLICATION Use in a well-ventilated area Stir thoroughly before and during use; 1 coat is usually enough but sometimes a second coat is needed Apply directly from the container Product can be applied by brush, roller, or spray Apply when material, substrate, and ambient temperatures are between 4.4°C (40°F) and 32.2°C (90°F) May be tinted with up to 60 mL (2 oz) per 3.79L of universal colourant DO NOT THIN Keep container closed when not in use Keep out of reach of children It is recommended that anyone who is applying the product or present during application of this product, especially those who are asthmatic, follow the manufacturer's safety precautions It is recommended that pregnant women are not present when product is being applied and drying DRYING Tack free in 15 minutes For multiple-coat application, allow a 2-hour dry time between coats Humidity and temperature may prolong dry, recoat, and cure times CLEAN UP & STORAGE Clean equipment with denatured alcohol promptly after use In case of spillage, absorb with inert material and dispose of in accordance with local regulations Wash thoroughly after handling When storing, tightly close container and store upside down Store in a well-ventilated area Do not store near heat, sparks, open flame, or other sources of ignition Protect from freezing Use completely or dispose of properly SAFETY & TECHNICAL DATA SHEETS Safety Data Sheet (IL-6800) Technical Data Sheet (IL-6800)
