Grown in the southern tip of Taiwan by the ocean, Seaport Oolong is as unique as its terroir. Strong winds, high heat, and salinity from the ocean air make for challenging tea cultivation, but Seaport has adapted to be particularly resilient. Its origins can be traced back to the late Qing dynasty when a local official commissioned a Wuyi cultivar from Fujian due to his love for the tea. Taste savory notes of bay leaf and rice cracker as hints of the ocean drift out of the teacup.
