Himalayan Gold Gilded Statuette of Seated Buddha Akshobhya Our artist from Kathmandu, Nepal, has hand-crafted this beautiful gold-gilded statuette of seated Buddha Akshobhya. He is seen seated in a meditational position while holding a vajra in his left hand and practicing Bhumisparsha mudra by his right with a very pleasing appearance. The vajra scepter of Akshobhya symbolizes him as the figurative Buddha of Tantric Buddhism's Vajra Family. These five classes suggested by the tantric doctrine are used to arrange tantric deities.
