Sebco is an ointment that is used to treat scaly scalp conditions like dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis, and psoriasis. When used on a regular basis, it contains coal tar solution, sulphur, and salcylic acid in a coconut oil base, which helps to soften and remove scale. Sebco is based on an ointment known as 'unguentum cocois co,' which has been used by dermatologists and doctors for more than 70 years and is still widely used today. Apply the ointment as directed on the patient information leaflet and leave on the scalp for at least one hour (some physicians will instruct that this is left in overnight). After this time, shampoo with a mild shampoo to remove the ointment. Cautions: Keep it between 10' and 25'C. After use, replace the cap and immediately wash your hands. Keep out of children's reach.
