Secret Passion by Paolo Cimmino for percussion trio. This piece can be performed on 4.5-octave marimba, bodran, and percussion, or the marimba part can be played on piano. From the composer, "The kind of energy that drives you to believe... and still believe. Feeling your inner self the desire to challenge your own limits further and further. You cannot explain it... it is the secret of passion. The concept of rhythmic cycles has always fascinated and propelled my passion. The repetitiveness of the phrases holds my attention and makes me concentrate on the details constantly seeking my own summary of phrase, groove and sound."Instrumentation:4.5-Octave Marimba (or piano)BodranPercussion - floor tom, kick drum, congas, bongos Show more
