Carex perdentata Common names include Webberville Sedge, Meadow Sedge, Sand Sedge, and Turf Sedge. A low-growing evergreen, clump-forming grass. Tolerates a wide variety of soil types and conditions and is one of the toughest sun and drought-tolerant sedges. However, keeping it well-watered helps it stay dense and lush and it feels most at home in some shade. It spreads gradually through runners, but with consistent watering, you'll see it grow even more quickly. Can handle some foot traffic and tolerates mowing as long as it's no lower than 4".
