Sedum morganianum 'Burrito', commonly known as Burro's Tail or Donkey's Tail, is a beautiful trailing succulent with plump blue-green leaves densely packed along cascading stems. As the stems mature, they gently spill over the edge of the pot, making this an excellent choice for shelves, hanging planters and sunny windowsills. Native to Mexico, this easy-care succulent stores water in its fleshy leaves, allowing it to tolerate periods of drought with ease. Mature plants may reward you with clusters of delicate pink flowers during the summer months, adding even more charm to this much-loved trailing species. Position in bright light and allow the compost to dry almost completely between waterings before watering thoroughly. Reduce watering during winter and feed monthly throughout spring and summer to encourage healthy growth. Take care when handling, as the fleshy leaves detach easily.
