Seeed Studio LDS02 LoRaWAN Door & Window Sensor Alarm (EU868MHz) is a compact wireless sensor designed to detect door and window open/close status and transmit data via the LoRaWAN EU868MHz network. It is ideal for monitoring valuable rooms, cabinets, or property access. Users can view door/window status, open duration, and open counts directly on the IoT server. This LDS02 Door & Window Sensor is powered by 2 × AAA batteries, supporting long-term use with approximately 16,000 ~ 70,000 uplink packets. Once the battery is depleted, users can easily replace it with standard AAA batteries, ensuring continuous operation. The Seeed Studio LDS02 LoRaWAN Sensor transmits periodic data daily and for each open/close action. It records the number of openings and calculates the duration of the last event. Users can configure the device to disable real-time uplinks and instead send periodic summaries, making it flexible for different monitoring needs. The LDS02 Alarm Sensor includes an open alarm function. Users can set thresholds so the device sends an alarm if a door or window remains open beyond a defined time. Each unit is preloaded with unique LoRaWAN registration keys, enabling automatic connection to the EU868MHz LoRaWAN network after power-on. The Seeed Studio LDS02 LoRaWAN Door & Window Sensor adapts to various door and window frames. For reliable installation, ensure the horizontal gap between sensor and magnet is ≤ 25 mm.
