A 1920s Tabriz rug from north west Persia. A flowing and semi naturalistic design of leaves and flowers surrounds the central medallion and cypress trees and lotus feature in the b order. Harmonious colours of soft red, pink, pale blue, brown. Overall wear and corrosion and loss to fringes but otherwise in good condition.
