These bowls are finished with all-natural, non-toxic walnut oil. They are food safe, although they should be hand-washed, and over time, repeated washings will eventually require r enewed applications of finish. Mineral oil or walnut oil can be easily reapplied, as with cutting boards Please check this page regularly to see what new bowls become available.
