Chosen as maple of the year by the Maple Society in 2022 - we agree! Seiryu Japanese maple is a classy upright growing form of the dissectum Acer palmatum maples. One of our favori tes at the nursery, Seiryu is a very sturdy and lovely plant with bright green leaves tipped with red in spring. Seiryu has fantastic fall color with leaves turning yellow orange to red. Seiryu is a very nice hardy plant despite it’s delicate appearance. A medium sized tree Seiryu will reach 12 feet in 10 years. Sun / or part shade. Best suited for zones 5-9. Show more
