Description Light/Soil/Water Hardiness Tillandsia Seleriana is a beautiful species of air plant with a bulbous base and a thick coating of rough white trichomes all over the plant. These trichomes creates a fuzzy velvety appearance while proctecting the plant from the sun and facilitating the moisture absorbing process. When Tillandsia Seleriana produces white flowers, its wavy leaves turn purple. All of the plants may be shipped bare root. Bright indirect sunlight. No soil is needed. Sand, sea glass, rocks, pebbles & bark chip can be used instead of soil. Frequent misting several times a week is necessary. Tillandsia Seleriana will also benefit from a soaking bath every week. Give it a little shake off afterwards to make sure water doesn't collect in the bottom leaves to prevent rot. Zone 10 (30F)
