They feature a large, lightweight gold wire hoop wrapped with bright turquoise beads, creating a beautiful d esign for everyday wear. These earrings are threaders, with a wire closure that tucks through the end of the earring behind the ear. Measures approximately 1 3/4" in diameter. ABOUT THE ARTISANS This beautiful jewelry is handmade by women in Mumbai, India, who are survivors of human trafficking. Sex trafficking is a form of modern day slavery, and the women who are rescued are often severely traumatized from their experience.
