Grown and Milled in Canada 50% Rambouillet x from Graham Rannie in Manitoba 50% CVM x BFL from Ann Embra in British Columbia 2ply / Approx 90-100g / 200m / 10 WPI This yarn is: Bou ncy, Tweedy, Thick & Thin, Folksy, Homey, Inconsistent, Naturally Coloured and Medium-Soft. It’s lovely wool, but it did not mill as expected so we are selling at cost and trying again :) This is an excellent chance to knit an all-Canadian wool yarn at cost* for those who don’t mind that it didn’t come out just right. We have washed the milling oil from each skein and they are ready to knit! **cost = raw wool, shipping, mill bill and washing the milling oil out once it got here. There is no markup on this yarn! This yarn will not arrive with a yarn label but I will include a card in each order with all the specs. The yarn is skeined at the mill by length, but the weight varies slightly from skein to skein.
