These are incredible synthetic peccary quills, these True Peccary Subs are great for kebari flies and soft hackle flies. With the white, brown and chocolate colors found on true peccary and having transition bands between the colors these are an incredible substitute. 0.4mm wide or 1mm wide with a taper at the start these will enable you to create peccary flies without the hassle of soaking peccary of finding quality peccary which is scarce! My favorite size is the 0.4mm wide for soft hackles and kebari fly bodies. I can usually get 2 flies out of each strand (probably 3 with the 1mm wide size). They also make excellent nymphs or dry fly bodies if you are doing some American-Tenkara.
