Semponium Sienna Semponium Sienna is a striking succulent hybrid that combines the bold architectural form of Aeonium with the resilience of Sempervivum. Its large rosettes display rich shades of burgundy, bronze, and deep green that become more intense in bright light, making it a standout feature on a sunny patio, balcony, or bright indoor windowsill. This compact, evergreen succulent is admired for its colourful foliage and tidy rosette growth. As the seasons change, the leaf colours can deepen, adding year-round interest to pots, succulent arrangements, and modern gardens. It is generally easy to grow when provided with plenty of light and well-draining soil, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced collectors. Care Light Prefers a bright position with several hours of direct or filtered sunlight each day. Introduce plants gradually to stronger sun to help prevent leaf scorch. Water Allow the potting mix to dry between waterings. Water more frequently during active growth and reduce watering during cooler periods. Soil Use a premium free-draining cactus or succulent potting mix to reduce the risk of excess moisture around the roots. Temperature Best suited to mild Australian conditions. Protect from prolonged frost and heavy rainfall where possible. Fertiliser Apply a diluted succulent fertiliser during the growing season if additional nutrition is required. Good to know Leaf colour often becomes richer with increased light exposure and cooler seasonal temperatures. Like many succulents, avoid leaving the plant sitting in water, as consistently wet soil can lead to root problems. The succulent plant housed in the black pot comes in a 130mm diameter container.
