Mounted on a 3”x3”x2.5” cherry wood base with an espresso stain. Comes wrapped in in an emerald-green velour pouch with an included hand-numbered and signed certificate of authenticity. This bust of Seneca the Younger was inspired by the Double Herm of Socrates and Seneca. Dating to the third century CE, this is one of the only accurate depictions of Seneca that survives. Seneca, a famed writer, dramatist, politician and advisor, is one of the three key figures in the development of Stoicism.
