Senecio crassissimus, commonly known as the Lavender Steps or Propeller Plant, is a striking succulent with upright, paddle-shaped leaves coated in a beautiful silvery-blue bloom and edged with rich purple margins. The fleshy leaves are held vertically, giving the plant a distinctive architectural look that's unlike almost any other succulent. Native to Madagascar, this drought-tolerant beauty is perfect for sunny windowsills, succulent collections, containers and modern plant displays. With plenty of sunshine, the purple colouring becomes even more vibrant. Plant Care Light: Bright light, but try to keep it out of the direct sun, or it will scorch. My rule with this plant is to place it where it has a view of the sky. Watering: About every two weeks is good. Bottom watering is ideal for this plant. Temperature: 15-29°C is ideal for these strings of things, but make sure not to let it dip below 10°C for too long or you may start losing the lovely little pearls.
