The human body benefits the most from medicinal herbs when they are steeped and ingested as a tea. Capsules and pills do not work as well, as they do not allow for the absorption of minerals the way a tea does. Disclaimer: While we can certainly see and appreciate the benefits of many medicinal herbs, The Herb Shop is not a medical facility nor are any of us doctors in any way. Please know that - while there are many wonderful benefits to medicinal herbs - there are certain side effects from taking too many medicinal herbs or for using them when certain other medical problems are present. We strongly suggest you speak with a doctor or qualified herbalist before beginning any herbal or other medical regimen. *1 oz = approximately 7 heaping Tablespoons
