Sensory juggling and dancing scarves provide endless possibilities of sensory fun and games. Lightweight, colourful and silky- our sensory scarves are perfect for so many sensory play ideas for different age groups. The versatile nature of a sensory scarf means it can be played with in a number of different ways and will grow with your child as their level of skill and development extends. For baby sensory play - use your sensory scarf to play peek a boo, hide objects underneath the scarf or tie the sensory scarfs to a table and lie your baby underneath. Babies love the sheer softness of the sensory scarves. Each sensory scarf is brightly coloured and is easy to grasp, wave around and hold. For toddlers and children - the silky texture of the sensory scarf is tactile and smooth to touch. Children can practice their gross motor skills by throwing and catching the scarves. They can learn to juggle by using the scarves instead of balls as they move slower as they glide through the air. Children can also develop a sense of rhythm by dancing and swaying the scarves to music. Use the sensory scarves in imaginative play, such as wearing as a superhero cape, decorating the cubby or making potions in a bowl. Each sensory scarf is hemmed.
