Description for SEPARATED AT DEATH by Sheldon Rusch: A middle-aged woman has been discovered beheaded in the bedroom of her suburban home. Even more shocking to Illinois State Special Agent Elizabeth Hewitt is that not only was her head cut off, it was missing. An attempt to talk to the woman's estranged husband yields another startling surprise for Hewitt and her partner, Jen Spangler. He, too, is found dead in his home, lying amid the flowers in his perfectly tended garden, murdered in the same gruesome fashion. Then an old wedding photo of the victims is sent anonymously to the local newspaper---perversely altered as a sick joke. But Hewitt's about to learn that this crime is not just a grisly vendetta leveled against one estranged couple. Because now another disillusioned husband and wife have been beheaded as well. Ant this wont' be the last. A killer's secret ceremony has begun. And Hewitt's been invited to stop it. This is #3 in Special Agent Elizabeth Hewitt Series.
