Saturday September 19th, 2026 at 11am Hosted by Mak Studio in Oregon City, OR $160 USD Sterling silver and sparkling gemstones come together in a ring made entirely by you. Learn b eginner-friendly ring making and stone setting techniques, and create a ring that feels like an heirloom from day one. In this 4-hour workshop, you will be guided through the steps of basic ring making and stone setting. Class sizes are kept small to ensure hands-on instruction from an experienced metalsmith. Each student will create their own sterling silver ring from start to finish, with over 15 natural gemstones to choose from. Skills covered: Sizing, measuring and filing Forming a ring band Soldering Shaping and texturing Stone setting Refining and polishing *All materials and the use of tools is included. *For safety reasons, I kindly ask that students be age 18+, or 16+ with a participating parent/guardian. *Please bring eye magnification if needed. We will be working with small items which can be difficult to see clearly for some.
