The spawning sockeye is in my opinion one of the most gorgeous fish to reproduce. The toothy, craggy, zombie-like appearance they take on when moving upstream to their original spa wning beds makes an intriguing muse. Original gyotaku on Kozo paper with traditional Sumi ink.
