Have you been dying to learn how to make something on the pottery wheel? This is the perfect class for you! This class requires no experience whatsoever. We will meet once a week and learn the basic process from beginning to end. At the end of the five weeks you will have learned how to throw a basic cylinder on the wheel, trimming, and glazing. Schedule: week 1: Prepping clay + Throwing week 2: Trimming + Throwing week 3: Trimming + Throwing week 4: Trimming + Surface Decoration week 5: Glaze On Monday and Wednesday class will begin at 6 pm and conclude at 8 pm. On Saturday class will begin at 10 am and conclude at 12 pm. Your pot could crack, break, and even explode. I will do my best to make sure you leave the class with pieces you can cherish for a long time.
