Three distinct Columbia Valley growing regions, each representing almost a third of the blend, are selected to create a complex, multi-layered wine. Yakima Valley’s Boushey Vineyar d gives Sequel its bright, vibrant character. A collection of top Red Mountain vineyards lends ripe character and structure. Bacchus Vineyard Block 5 Syrah, planted in 1993, adds intense color and black fruit, with a small amount of Shiraz clone from Sonnet Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills adding black currant aromas and flavors.
