The little brother to the Prophet 5, the 600 has got a lot to offer in a smaller, more affordable package. Also the first in the line to have MIDI! The first of any commercially available synth to do so actually. You're not here for a history lesson though. What's the Prophet 600 really about? Often caught in the shadow of the Prophet 5, the 600 is an animal of its own. At its core, it is a six-voice analogue synthesizer. Each voice has two oscillators that are capable of generating Saw, Pulse and Triangle waveforms. Both the pulse Width and frequency are adjustable for each, with Oscillator B adding a fine-tuning control. There is also a switch for oscillator sync – Prophet ‘sync sweeps’ had by now become a recognizable commodity. The P600 is extremely versatile and easy to use! Its best functions include the onboard arpeggiator, 2-track sequencer and poly-modulation. The P600 is great for creating analog effects, swells and drones. It has a cool glide effect and has very flexible modulation possibilities! This sweet vintage synth is very lightly used, and we'll ship it to you super fast and super safe in its included road case.
