Developed over a year in collaboration with artisan groups in Oaxaca, our production process honors natural cycles, with silk woven, naturally dyed, and adorned with delicate crochet. Handwoven silk originates from Murshidabad, India, reflecting our commitment to sustainability. The silk is dyed with a Zapotec community in Oaxaca, Mexico, using four locally sourced plants – Pericon, Añil, Grana Cochinilla, and Palo de Brasil. Additionally, the mountain water from Sierra Norte enhances the colors, making them incredibly crisp and clear. These are true art in motion, collector’s pieces. Of a quality rarely seen, each piece is one of a kind and uniquely finished in crochet. With a total of three artisan groups that work to create one garment, it’s a covetable but wearable piece that you will treasure forever.
