Service Description A retainer installation appointment is designed for clients who need temporary low-visibility or procedure-safe/non-metal jewelry installed by a professional piercer. Retainers are commonly used for medical procedures, surgery preparation, MRI appointments, sports activities, workplace requirements, school policies, or situations where a piercing needs to be made less noticeable temporarily. We offer a variety of glass and silicone retainer options, including lower-visibility colors designed to blend more naturally with different skin tones. Not all piercings are suitable for retainers, especially fresh or unstable piercings. For safety reasons, we do not install previously used retainers in fresh piercings. If you are unsure whether a retainer is appropriate for your piercing, our piercers will help determine the safest option during your appointment.
