This perfect sized oval platter featurs a flying owl against a green treeline. The image is hand carved, using Sgrafitto technique, into clay before either of two kiln firings. A f inal clear glaze is applied over top for glossy finish and food safe functionality. Platter approx. 12” x 9” x 1.5” Each piece is handmade and no two are the same. The shape, size and design will vary slightly from one platter to the next. Please expect the pleasant attributes of pottery made by hand. Underside of platter is partially glazed and features a pretty flourish graphic design. Food safe but please hand wash this platter and use for serving only. Not designed for cooking in oven. Dip bowl can go in dishwasher. Show more
