They are best used with your own (cotton) top cover. An earthing connection cable (5m), and adapter (grounding plug) are included with each product (so 3 of each in total). Choose your English or European adapters. For the US & Canada, there is no adapter required. Just select the default European plug. This grounding flat sheet measures 90 x 200cm (36" x 80") with 2 extra folds of 55cm (22") on the long side. The sheet can be used on a single bed in length or width or on a double bed for 1 person (in length) or 2 persons (in width); see images. The flat grounding sheet is made of certified organic cotton with 5% antibacterial, antiviral 'High Conductive' silver yarn, softly woven into the fabric, and matches conductivity rates similar to 30% regular silver yarn (beware of counterfeits).The conductivity of the Aarding™ Silver Yarn is unmatched and remains intact after several washes. It's the only grounding sheet in this category that can be used with your own top sheet without losing grounding yield for your health. They are connected with the earth by an included conductive cable so your body is grounded during sleep. This is done using the supplied adapter that ensures the connection via a standard earthed wall socket. A standard grounding cable (5m, 15ft) and European or UK adapter (grounding plug) are included per item (good for Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the UK, Ireland, and most European countries). Other adapters (Swiss, Italian, etc.) are ordered separately. For the US and Canada, you don't need an adapter. This earthing flat sheet has long sides to tuck in nicely and is a great 'step-in' grounding product, or if you have, for example, a bed with a split topper. It can be used preferably under your own (mostly) cotton top sheet. Earthing fitted sheets, however, also in our collection and our specialty, stay even better in place during the whole night and guarantee as such a continued optimal earthing effect for your body. At night is an ideal time to ‘earth’ yourself. During your sleep, your body recovers best. This gives an excellent grounding of your body. By your body pressure, warmth, and transpiration, contact with the silver remains intact and ensures almost immediately excellent conductivity that remains throughout the night. These half sheets strokes are excellent travel companions as they are lightweight and don't depend on the mattress size (eg, in a hotel or staying over at friends). For daily use, a fitted grounding sheet however is recommended.They can also be used for children's beds as they can be folded and layered. Earthing pillowcases should be used under your own (mostly) cotton pillow cover. This gives an excellent direct grounding of your upper body, neck, and head. Connection A standard grounding cable (5m, 15ft) and European or UK adapter (grounding plug) are included per item (good for Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the UK, Ireland, and most European countries). Other adapters (Swiss, Italian, etc.) are ordered separately. For the US and Canada, you don't need an adapter. Every adapter can hold 2 grounding cables so you can connect 2 grounding products with one adapter. A regular grounded extension cord can also be used to plug the adapter(s) into, as long as this extension cord is also plugged into a grounded wall socket. When you don't have an earthed wall socket handy, it's difficult to reach or while traveling, a grounding rod (also available online) can be used, which very simply connects the sheet and pillowcases to the ground by a fine 12-meter cable. This grounding pin can easily be placed through a window (which can still be closed perfectly) and inserted into the ground, even if you sleep 1 or 2 floors high. The built-in resistor is also provided here for added security and peace of mind. Do you live too high for the pin or have no garden or ground under your window? You can also perfectly ground through a metal pipe of your central heating. They are also always earthed via the boiler (by law). For this, we have handy alligator clips available or a distribution box with an alligator clip. Safety The Grounding Half Sheet and Pillow Cases do not consume electricity and never come into contact with it. In fact, they can protect you from the electrosmog near you due to the presence of the earth's neutralizing electrons. They are safely connected only to the grounding of your home by the adapters (plug) in a grounded wall socket.For your peace of mind, an extra 100 kOhm resistor is always built into the cable, even safe for children and babies. Washing Regular washing every 2 weeks is recommended to clean the cotton that buffers body acids from transpiration and to remove insulating body oils from the silver thread.With your own top (fitted) cotton sheet, 3 to 4 weeks between washing is fine. The grounding sheets, pillowcases, and blankets can be washed at 40 °. Only wash with a mild detergent for colored laundry, never ever with a detergent for white laundry as they contain bleaches and will render the silver non-conductive. Never use bleaches, fabric softeners, anti-limescale agents (Calgonit), or natural soap nuts (Seepje, Green Soap, etc.). These will damage the silver thread. Preferably, do not tumble dry but air dry to prevent faster wear, as with any other sheet. You can iron at a lower temperature if necessary. Disclaimer Grounding, the physical connection with the earth, always works in terms of lowering your body's voltage to the earth's voltage, which is close to zero.
