Description Archival pigment print on Juniper Baryta Rag 305gsm, with cut edges Hand-signed and numbered by the artist Edition of 90 76.2 x 76.2 cm About Seth Armstrong Seth Armstrong’s gestural realism, reflects his interests in the Dutch Renaissance and the Californian plein air movement of the early 20th century, depicting the vertiginous suburban neighbourhoods of his native LA. After studying for his BFA at the California College of Art, Armstrong studied in Holland, where his exploration into the medium of oil paint influenced his sensitive consideration of light. Inspired by the desire to capture his immediate surroundings, Armstrong’s works are imbued with a delicate vitality, capturing fluttering, passing moments in the life of the city.
