About the Designer: Katsuhiko Ogino Born in Tokyo in 1944, *Katsuhiko Ogino* is a distinguished product designer. After studying woodcraft at the Tokyo Metropolitan High School of Arts and Crafts and ceramics at Musashino Art University, he further honed his skills at the Industrial Arts Research Institute. In 1966, he established the Ogino Design Office, where he has since been creating designs that seamlessly blend functionality with traditional Japanese aesthetics across various mediums, including woodwork, ceramics, and metalware.
