Sewing 101 is a welcoming, hands-on class designed to introduce you to the basics of sewing and sewing machine use. In this class, you’ll learn: Sewing machine basics and setup How to thread a machine and needle Fundamental stitches and stitch control Best practices for starting and finishing seams Introduction to patterns How to take & use body measurements Whether you’re brand new to sewing or looking for a refresher, our instructor will guide you step-by-step in a supportive, low-pressure environment. What to bring: Your own sewing machine is preferred A limited number of machines may be available to use if needed Bring your own fabric or use materials provided in class Skill level: Beginner (no prior sewing experience required) Age requirement: 13+ Class minimum: A minimum of 3 participants is required to hold the class.
