Sewing Basics Workshop is a one‑day, hands‑on class designed for absolute beginners or anyone wanting to get reacquainted with their sewing machine. You’ll learn how to properly thread and operate your machine while developing essential skills such as cutting fabric, sewing straight seams, turning corners, and finishing edges. Throughout the day, you’ll practice these techniques as you complete a simple and useful project: a finished pillowcase to take home. By the end of class, you’ll feel comfortable using a sewing machine and ready for your next project or beginner‑level class. What You’ll Learn How to thread and operate your sewing machine Understanding basic machine functions and presser feet How to cut fabric accurately Sewing straight seams and turning clean corners How to finish edges for a polished look Complete a pillowcase from start to finish Skill Level Beginner.
