3rd Saturday of the month, 1PM - 4PM Instructor: Deren Bader Skill level: Absolute Beginner Class size: Enrollment limited to 6 There is no Sewing Basics in July but there are still spaces for August and September. The cost of the class including materials is $75. When you register you are signing up for a single class date. Classes are intended for adults only. Come learn how to sew in a fun and supportive environment! This 3-hour class will teach you the basics of machine sewing. We will cover the parts of a sewing machine, threading the machine, and winding a bobbin. We will also go over different stitch and tension settings. After a little practice, we will sew a useful tote bag. Fabric material and color may vary from the photos. You will leave with a finished project and be able to say 'I made it'. We hope this class will help you gain confidence in using a sewing machine and be prepared to take on more sewing projects on your own. You do not need to bring a machine to the class. We will sew on the Bernina machines in our studio.
