This 3hr workshop is ideal for total beginners to sewing or for people who are a little rusty and would like to re-a quaint themselves with the sewing machine. Learn all about the sewing machine. Learn to sew while making a choice on the day of, a tote bag, a cushion, or a Cosmetic bag with zipper. A tote bag is my preferred’first’ project when learning to use a sewing machine as there is plenty of sewing in it! With a basic introduction to understanding pattern terminology and fabric handling. This is a perfect workshop for total beginners to gain confidence using a sewing machine, and find out what to do when things go wrong! Sewing machines and all materials provided. Foundation workshop to then join one of our regular weekly morning or evening sewing groups. Discounts will be offered on our longer courses upon completion of this beginner workshop.
