This chess set is a wonderfully detailed collectible carved of solid hornbeam wood. Each chess piece is individually handcrafted. Folding Birchwood chess board stows away your ches s pieces inside when you are not playing. Made from renewable plantation wood. King: 2.76" (7cm). Queen: 1.89" (4.8cm). Pawn: 1.18" (3cm). Board measures 14.02"W x 1.57"H x 13.78"D (35.6cm x 4cm x 35cm). Squares measures 1.54" x 1.54" (3.9cm x 3.9cm). Board is made from beech and birch.
