Developed by our Roaster to create a cup that “tastes like coffee should”, Shadow Cast is roasted a little darker so that your last sip is just as smooth as the first.Our Shadow Cast house roast has a heavy body and smooth, gentle acidity. With flavor notes of Dark Chocolate, Praline and Cinnamon. This coffee represents a rare convergence of exceptional quality, sustainability, and traceability, produced by APROCOMSA in the protected Marcala region of Honduras using organic and biodynamic farming practices. Through its Finca Humana philosophy, APROCOMSA supports more than 1,500 producers with education, environmental stewardship, and community investment, including funding an international school for future leaders. The coffee is carefully processed at a centralized organic wet mill, where ripe cherries are hand sorted, fermented for 24 hours, mechanically washed with water-saving technology, and slowly dried to preserve quality. Before export, the coffee is cupped, graded, and sorted at APROCOMSA’s dry mill in Marcala, ensuring full traceability and consistent quality standards that help producers earn higher prices.
