Inspired to capture the unique silhouette of a rudbeckia flower. This framed piece is made with silk noil (raw silk) fabric that was dyed with indigo and weld. Then using pigment e xtracted from black scabiosa to make printing ink, the silhouette is then stamped onto the fabric and framed out with maple wood.
