The gauge is conveniently color coded with 15 sizes to fit virtually all graphite shafts, as well as popular steel shaft sizes. HOW TO USE Step 1 - Insert the gauge into the butt end of the shaft*Note: do not force the gauge into the shaft, as it can get stuck. Step 2 - When the gauge stops naturally, identify the last color dot that was inserted into the shaft (see chart below or read full color description) Step 3 - Refer to Maximum sand down variables Step 4 - Then select the correct size shaft extender here (sold separately).
