How to Use Shampoo Bar Wet hair, then glide the bar from scalp to mid length. Work it into a creamy lather with your fingertips. Rinse well. Follow with the Root & Clay Conditioner Bar. If lather feels light on the first wash, simply rinse and shampoo again. The first cleanse lifts oils and buildup so the second wash can lather properly. Conditioner Bar After shampooing, sweep the bar from mid length to ends of wet hair. Work it through with your fingertips until your strands feel silky. Let it sit for 1 to 2 minutes, then rinse well. Why it feels different: This conditioner bar doesn’t feel slippery while applying. That’s normal.
