Helping Learners Connect Colour and Meaning Through Touch The Colour Learning Tiles are tactile learning resources designed to support children in exploring colours through both visual and tactile pathways. Each colour is paired with a distinct shape to create an additional layer of understanding, helping learners build links between colour, shape and meaning. This approach may support learners with visual impairments, CVI, SEND needs, autism, communication differences, and learners who benefit from multi-sensory approaches. Development Note These tiles are currently in early development and production, and feedback from teachers, therapists, parents, and VI professionals is welcomed as the system develops.
