The SHAPE counter-weight is padded and weighs 4 lb. (1.78 kg). It adds stability to the SHAPE camera rig by counterweighting the camera support towards the back. It relieves some o f the camera weight from the handles. It can be attached to the SHAPE camera rig with a screw knob. When not needed, it can be removed easily.
