This gorgeous piece is framed in a handmade St Ives style wooden frame. The artwork is 80cm by 100cm plus 10cm for the frame. There is a discount applied as I have had this in stock for a while, and it has a few imperfections on the frame. None of which take away from it's beauty and impact. In this collection, I wanted to challenge myself to create more expressive pieces, giving me the freedom to explore a more graffiti- and street-art-inspired style of painting. I use more spray paint and acrylic inks in this collection than in my previous work, creating a distinctly urban feel that allows each piece to truly stand out. Alongside this, I embraced freer, hand-drawn shapes such as crosses, boxes, and hearts. I also wanted to celebrate the beauty of women by incorporating delicate line drawings, thoughtfully placed beside the more abstract and expressive areas of colour.
