This Sharpening Stone from Okatsune has a grit of #600, perfect for everyday sharpening of secateurs and shears. Using a whetstone requires a bit more expertise, but once mastered you'll be left with a beautifully sharp, smooth finish that is second to none. The stone should be wet before use. Ensure you grind using a gentle pressure. Most shears and secateurs are single beveled - sharpen on the outside, and then smooth off the inside, going slightly over to remove the burr.
