A sharp carving knife makes carving easier and more enjoyable. Give your knife a few passes on the strop every so often while you carve to help maintain a clean, razor-sharp edge. This strop is made from oak and leather, with a wide 2-1/2" leather surface that works well for both carving knives and longer blades.
