Pine Tar is a dark sticky substance that is commonly used by baseball players to enhance their grip on a wood bat. Some players gob it on their helmets, so during the game, between pitches, they can access it easily & tap their hands on their helmet to ensure the sticky substance gets "a good layer applied" to the palm and fingers. The tar, once applied helps batters maintain a firm grip on the wooden handle, which can improve the swing, snap and contact with the ball. This shave cream batch is apart of our Fathers Day Collection. Inspired by my Late Father Doug, who co-produced our shave cream (2016-2024). Doug was avid fan of baseball and women’s fastpitch. He played in his younger days and followed the Toronto Blue Jays religiously on TV. This batch has a distinct base layer of Pine Tar and lingering notes of Smoke + Cinnamon. Not to worry, there is NO stickiness! With this batch, I swung for the fences & I'm confident my Father would approve !
