The Shaw Shank Redemption has finally come (again) after a short break and some improvements. The Shaw Shank V3 or SSV3 is a side wing style pouch designed to comfortably carry a f ixed blade knife (or shank if you will) along the sides of a Armor Plate or Chest Rig. The SSV3 features a Tegris Thermoplastic Mounting Flap which can easily be flipped for a right or left hand set up and uses Hook & Loop Velcro to mount to equipment. The SSV3 is lined with loop Velcro on both inner sides and comes with two 3"x2" strips of Adhesive Hook Velcro which is to be placed on the knife sheath prior to placing into the pouch. The SSV3 is sized to hold a sheath no larger than 3" wide and the pouch is 5" deep. While the SSV3 is designed for carrying a blade it can also hold a standard AR style rifle magazine pouch, a small sized radio (such as a Baofeng or Motorola), a CAT Tourniquet and more.
